Deep carbonizing drives moisture out of the bamboo and tightens the fibers. The result is a board that stays flat, resists warping and shrugs off the splitting that ends most wooden boards.
Carve a roast, slice a ripe tomato, break down a melon. The deep channel catches the juice before it reaches your counter, so cleanup is the board and nothing else.
Large for meat, medium for vegetables, small for cheese, garlic and herbs. Keeping them apart is the simplest way to keep flavors clean and prep genuinely safe.

The bamboo is heat treated all the way through, which drives out moisture, darkens the grain and tightens the fibers. That makes the board denser, more moisture resistant and far less likely to crack than an untreated wooden board.
Three boards in graduated sizes, a large one for meat and carving, a medium for vegetables and fruit, and a small one for cheese, garlic and herbs. Using them separately keeps flavors and raw ingredients apart.
They arrive pre oiled and ready to cut on. Re oiling with a food safe mineral oil every few weeks keeps the surface rich, sealed and looking new.
No. Bamboo is firm enough to cut cleanly on but still gives slightly under the blade, which is far kinder to an edge than glass, stone or plastic.
Hand wash with warm soapy water, rinse and stand them on edge to dry. Avoid long soaking and the dishwasher, and the carbonized surface will stay flat and tight for years.
